Achievements:
3x President’s List, 2x Provost’s List, 1x Dean’s List, Presidental Scholarship, and Success Incentive Award.
Licenses/Certifications
First Aide Certified
Observation:
Two outpatient orthopedic clinics (410 hours) and an acute care hospital (28 hours). Observed general orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular/pulmonary, integumentary, geriatrics, pediatrics, sports, aquatics, and vestibular therapy.
LOR: Variety of physical therapists that I had worked with, professors, and coaches.
As an average student, I made sure to strengthen my applications elsewhere. This included participating in volunteer work, getting a lot of observation hours, retaking pre-requite classes that I received Cs in, and building strong connections with people who would serve as my letters of recommendations. Everyone’s application will be different, just try to strengthen it in a variety of different areas to help increase your chances of getting into PT school.
